NCC – Nurturing Discipline and Leadership

At VIVA, the NCC program is designed to develop character and leadership through a balance of physical training, classroom sessions, and practical field activities. Cadets participate in marching drills, weapons training, and field exercises that strengthen endurance, self-confidence, and teamwork. These experiences prepare students to face challenges with determination and discipline, qualities essential for success in both military and civilian life.
Beyond physical training, NCC at VIVA emphasizes community service and social responsibility. Cadets actively engage in activities such as cleanliness drives, tree plantation programs, blood donation camps, and awareness campaigns on important social issues. Through these initiatives, students cultivate a deep sense of empathy and civic duty, learning that true strength lies not only in physical ability but also in serving and uplifting others.
The NCC curriculum also includes adventure and leadership camps, trekking expeditions, and national-level training opportunities that enrich the cadet experience. Such exposure broadens students’ horizons and instills qualities like courage, adaptability, and unity. With guidance from experienced instructors and participation in various events and parades, cadets develop a sense of pride and discipline that stays with them for life, shaping them into responsible and patriotic citizens of tomorrow.
