Implementation of CBSE at ‘VIVA’ ensures the micro-delivery of the academic modules by Viva Teachers followed by Assessment through CCE. It not only helps Viva teachers to frame Remedial measures for Academically Challenged Children and Enrichment programme for above average Children but to design an academic programme for Average students too, at std VI,VII,VIII level, in the initial stages. At Secondary level, Viva planned to prepare children for external competitive exams with a vision to make the children to participate en-mass in National Talent Search Exams (NTSE) at std.10th Level and emerge as NTSE Scholarship winners, in good numbers. At Senior Secondary level, Viva is to integrate regular delivery of the curriculum with Foundation for IIT-JEE Entrance, AIPMT Entrance and participation in International Junior Science Olympiad(IJSO) and Kishor Vigyan Proudyogiki Yojna(KVPY) conducted by Govt. of India.

Scheme of Studies of Classes IX-X includes Compulsory Learning of Two Languages (one among two would be English and other one either Hindi or any Regional Language or a Foreign Language), Mathematics, Science, Social Science and optional ones are Information and Communication Technology, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Physical and Health Education.
Scheme of Examination from std VI to X has been structured under CCE (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation). The CCE scheme of Examination consists of Four Formative Assessments (FAs) and two Summative Assessments (SAs). The weightage of each FA is 10% counted to be 40% for four FAs and the weightage of each SA is 30% each counted to be 60% for two SAs.
Structure of FAs comprises of Pen-Paper Test, Assignment/Project, Quiz/Presentation (ASL in case of English and demonstration/seminar in case of Science and Social Science. In FAs, there would be mandatorily one Individual activity and one Group activity. The Group activity covers the preparation of a Project or a part of Quiz team or group project on the basis of field trips, upon the learning modules concerned. Individual activity could be the preparation of Assignment or presentation of Seminar. Under co-scholastic Assessment, the Skills learnt from the topics and Application of the Skills is assessed.
Structure of SAs is divided into SA-1 and SA-2 of 30% weightage of each SA. SA-1 is being conducted in Oct/Nov on the basis of the topics covered from April to September term and SA-2 is being conducted in the month of March. It’s purely Pen-Paper Test and the Question Paper of SA-1 and SA-2 comes directly from the Board in std. X.
The learning areas at std. XI & XII includes two languages (Core/elective) out of 32 languages. However, one language shall be English or Hindi. The languages may be offered either at Core/Elective level. The same language, however, cannot be offered both at the Core and Elective level.
