Safety & Security
At VIVA The School, we believe that a safe and secure learning environment is essential for academic success and holistic student growth. Our safety and security systems are designed to protect students, staff, and visitors at all times. From physical infrastructure to hygiene practices, every measure is implemented with diligence and continuous improvement.
Security Personnel
- Our campus is guarded by trained and certified security staff who are stationed at key access points throughout the school. They undergo regular background checks, professional training, and skill refreshment programs to ensure they meet security standards.
- A strict entry management system is followed. Visitors are allowed only after identity verification, registration, and issuance of visitor badges. Parents and guardians must also follow proper identification protocols during student pickup.
- The entire school premises, including corridors, playgrounds, and entrances, are monitored through CCTV surveillance. Security personnel coordinate with school authorities to review recordings when required.
- Our staff is trained for emergency response including safety drills, student escort protocols, and alert communication systems. In case of emergencies, the security team works in coordination with local authorities.
Fire Safety
- Fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and safety alarms are installed in classrooms, labs, corridors, and common areas. These devices are tested and maintained regularly to ensure full functionality.
- Fire evacuation drills are conducted periodically, helping students and staff respond calmly and safely in emergency situations. Clearly marked fire exits and evacuation maps are placed throughout the campus.
- Dedicated fire-safety signage and emergency lighting guide evacuation routes even in low-visibility conditions. All staff members receive essential fire response training to assist students efficiently.
- Our school works closely with certified fire safety professionals to conduct inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with national school safety guidelines.
Food Safety
- The school cafeteria operates under strict hygiene and food safety standards. All meals are prepared in sanitized kitchens using fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers.
- Food-handling staff undergo regular health checkups, wear proper safety gear, and follow protocols like glove use, handwashing, and clean workstation maintenance.
- Balanced meals are offered to ensure proper nutrition for growing children. We also maintain a transparent list of food allergens and take precautions to provide safe alternatives for students with dietary needs.
- Weekly cleanliness audits and temperature-controlled storage systems prevent contamination and spoilage. Leftover food is handled and disposed of in a hygienic manner.
Water Safety & Sanitation
- Drinking water provided on campus undergoes regular quality testing for purity and safety. Water filters and purification systems are maintained and serviced frequently.
- Water tanks are cleaned and disinfected regularly to prevent contamination. We ensure that water distribution lines are maintained and sanitized.
- All washrooms are kept clean, odor-free, and fully equipped with handwashing stations, soap, tissues, and sanitary bins. Cleaning staff follow a strict schedule for restroom sanitation.
- The school promotes hygiene awareness among students, including handwashing habits, personal cleanliness, and responsible use of washroom facilities. Visual posters and school activities reinforce healthy behavior.
